“Work As Worship”
Colossians 3:12-17
Rev. Jenifer Anne Swindell
Today’s world where school, work, and “normal home life” suddenly share the same address may mean that this “Labor Day Weekend” looks and feels a lot different than ones in the past. Building on last week’s sermon on Sabbath, Pastor Jen takes a look at how God’s perfect plan for creation always included work and how our calling to work (through a job, parenting, homemaking, volunteering, or even as a retiree) helps to shape us as children of God, and, more importantly, to build God’s kingdom here on earth.
