How do I set up a new recurring gift?
Setting up a recurring gift is a great way to consistently put God first in your finances. Recurring giving is easy and takes just minutes to set up. Simply choose your schedule and amount to automate your giving today and input the information on PushPay.
How do I modify an existing recurring gift?
You can easily modify the amount of your existing recurring gift or cancel it through our online giving system, PushPay.
How do I view my giving history?
You can quickly access your giving history via your secured Asbury Profile in our database, Realm.
How do I know if I entered my information correctly and my payment was made?
PushPay sends receipts, please be sure to check those for accuracy when setting up your giving. It will take a couple days for all payments to be processed, but if all the information was entered correctly, you should see a draft in your account on the day that you scheduled your payment. If you do not see it within a few days of the scheduled payment, your transaction may not have gone through and you can follow up with Paula Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 919-847-2818, ext 229.
Your information is held securely in our secure servers through our partners at Realm and PushPay. Your information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions. You can schedule new contributions at any time and modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled.
General Giving Questions
If I give a donation to the church, will I receive a tax receipt?
Yes – PushPay will immediately e-mail receipts when a gift is made. You may view and print your giving statement from our online directory and database, Realm, at any time. Contributions are updated weekly in Realm. Additionally, we send quarterly statements, as well as a year-end summary for tax purposes.
If I make a contribution to the church, how do I know where my money is going?
The church budget is available upon request to donors. Giving covers all aspects of our life together as Asbury Church – including ministries like facilities improvements, online presence in web and social media, quality discipleship for our kids and students, Christian education including Right Now Media, and employing our staff to help support and lead various ministries.
How long will it take for you to process my donation?
Please allow five to seven days for all donations (online, cash, check, or by mail) to clear your account. If your gift has not processed after one week, please contact us Paula Jones at email@example.com so she may investigate the issue.
Can I give a cash donation and still get tax-deductible credit?
Yes – We provide giving envelopes for that purpose. If not using the pre-printed envelopes, be sure to include your name, address, and contact information so it can be properly credited.
What is your refund policy?
Asbury Church is not legally required to refund any contributions. A charitable contribution is a gift, an irrevocable transfer of a donor’s entire interest in the donated cash or property. Contributions must be irrevocable to qualify for a charitable deduction.
Exceptions could include requests for duplicate donations or errors in processing. In some instances a refund of a designated or restricted gift may be allowed if the
purpose for which the gift was given will not come to fruition. In those cases, Asbury Church will contact the donor and ask for the restriction to be removed or if the donor would like his or her contribution returned. For example, donations for mission trips may be refunded if a trip gets cancelled and the donor requests a refund.
