Hello! I am honored to serve the families and young children at Asbury Church. Though I began working at Asbury in 2011, my journey started as a babysitter for friends and relatives long before that. Since then I have worked with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age, middle school and high school children. I have four children of my own and have a B.S. in Child Development. After working at Duke for 10 years, Proverbs 22:6 (“Train up a child in the way they should go and when he is old they will not depart from it.”) penetrated and enlightened my spirit.  It was then that I pursued my purpose given by God. It has been such a joy and pleasure to fulfill.

My desire is to teach, inspire, guide, and motivate young children to achieve their full potential that has been placed within them by God to learn, grow, and develop. I love working with young children because it has allowed me to be able show Gods love for them at an early age and use my God given gifts to make a difference in the lives of young children. I love the Lord and I am open/willing to assist you in anyway I can.
