We offer a child-centered program with small classes, and welcome children of any race, creed or culture. Our curriculum is based on developmentally appropriate principles and activities. It includes both age-appropriate and individually-appropriate information so children can freely interact with people and materials.
Educational activities, social experiences and social interaction will be based on a Christian perspective. Our program is designed to encourage language development, discovery learning, social skills, creativity, and the beginning of an understanding that God loves each of us.
Child-initiated, child-directed, teacher-supported play is an essential component of classroom practice. The protection and enhancement of a child’s self-esteem are important to us. Discipline, when necessary, will include redirection and a brief explanation. If this proves ineffective, a short time-out will be used.
