NEWS AND NOTES
New Blog Post
Every week, someone within our church administration (and maybe within our community) will share life nuggets with us and be a source of knowledge and inspiration through their stories! Be sure to check them out every week (usually Mondays) on our Church Blog. This week, our Director of Groups and Service, Sharon Hensley, reflects on a recent baptism that was unique for Asbury but inspiring for everyone! Check it out!!
Parents and students are invited to join us for a Confirmation interest meeting THIS Sunday, January 28 immediately following the 9:30 AM service. We will meet in the Asbury North Youth Room. Come hear about what Confirmation at Asbury Church looks like, register your child for confirmation and ask any questions! RSVP to Michelle Keown ASAP.
If you can’t make it to the interest meeting but your child would like to participate in confirmation, which starts on Sunday, February 11, please email Andy Mannes no later than February 4. Confirmation is open to all students, but typically our younger students, 6th and/or 7th grade students participate in the class and complete their confirmation.

First Sunday Prayer Meeting
Please join us Sunday, February 4 at 5:00 PM (NEW TIME) in Asbury South for our monthly prayer meeting. This month’s focus will be on the love of Christ.
We invite you to participate in S.O.A.P.Y. It’s our way to read and reflect on daily passages from the Bible and connect to scripture as a community of Christ followers. You can pick up a bookmark in the lobby of either building, visit the SOAPY page on our website, or subscribe to have it sent to your email every morning. We hope this will be a great tool to help your continued growth with Jesus.
