Sunday Kid’s Ministry – Nursery and Preschool

Parents and youth partner with our nursery staff to provide a safe and nurturing experience for our birth – 3 year olds. The nursery is available for our 9:30 am and 11:00 am services.  During the 9:30 am service, we provide a classroom experience filled with activities and a story for our 3-5 year olds. (First time guests can pre-register their children here)

Prayer after 9:30 AM Service

If you would like prayer after the 9:30 AM service, a caring individual in room 302 will be waiting to pray with you.

Asbury Care Team (ACT)care team

ACT is here to confidentially serve our church community under the leadership of our Lead Pastor, for general or specific life issues such as grief/loss, unemployment, illness, and life changes. To learn more and meet our Care Team members, click here.



Creating Community

LifeGroups are made up of 8-12 people meeting, often in homes, to form friendships, talk about faith and the Bible, have social times and do service projects. Asbury Kid’s Ministry

LiveIt! is our Sunday environment for K-5th grade from 9:30-10:30am. It is a small group experience with a large group component where a host and storyteller make the Bible come alive and help children apply biblical principles to everyday life. Click here to learn more or contact Crista McKenzie .

Backpack Buddies Meal Packing Eventbackpack

Our next meal packing event is scheduled for next Saturday, February 24 at 10 AM in Asbury North. We will pack backpacks with weekend meals for children from food-insecure homes. This is a GREAT service project for families! For questions, contact Crista!

Family of Wake Promise Service Opportunity – Volunteers Needed – March 2018

Family Promise guests are coming to Asbury North starting Sunday, March 11 and this will be a great opportunity for you to be of service to others within our community. We will need:

  • A set-up team on the morning of Sunday 3/11
  • Drivers, sleepers, dinner and social teams – each day from 3/11-3/18
  • A tear-down team on Sunday 3/18

Last week, we started the next phase of our renovation plans. As you notice some changes in the North Building, please take a moment to read the signage display in the lobby (also included to the left).  So, please excuse the mess as we work to update our facilities!

Here at Asbury Church, attendance at our Discovering Asbury class is a requirement for membership. Our next class will be on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. Christian Book Drive

A book drive for Christian Library International will be held at Asbury during the month of February. CLI only ships Christian books, Bible studies, and Bibles to over 1,600 prisons. Donations should be placed in labeled boxes found in each lobby.

Friday Night Support Group 

Do you have someone in your life that has a Substance Use Disorder? Are you struggling with this alone? Well, now you don’t have to.  Asbury Church, a confidential and safe place for all participants, hosts a weekly support group every Friday at 7 PM. Registration (not required) and contact information can be found here.
