Sunday Kid’s Ministry – Nursery and Preschool

Parents and youth partner with our nursery staff to provide a safe and nurturing experience for our birth – 3 year olds. The nursery is available for our 9:30 am and 11:00 am services.  During the 9:30 am service, we provide a classroom experience filled with activities and a story for our 3-5 year olds. (First time guests can pre-register their children here)

Prayer after 9:30 AM Service

If you would like prayer after the 9:30 AM service, a caring individual in room 302 will be waiting to pray with you.

Asbury Care Team (ACT)care team

ACT is here to confidentially serve our church community under the leadership of our Lead Pastor, for general or specific life issues such as grief/loss, unemployment, illness, and life changes. To learn more and meet our Care Team members, click here.

LifeGroups

Creating Community

LifeGroups are made up of 8-12 people meeting, often in homes, to form friendships, talk about faith and the Bible, have social times and do service projects. Kids

Asbury Kid’s Ministry

LiveIt! is our Sunday environment for K-5th grade from 9:30-10:30am. It is a small group experience with a large group component where a host and storyteller make the Bible come alive and help children apply biblical principles to everyday life. Click here to learn more or contact Crista McKenzie .

Asbury Student MinistryStudents

SERVICE

Help Us Work Towards Our Goal of Packaging 1,000,000 Meals

We need 200+ volunteers on Saturday, March 24 at 10 AM to help us with packing 60,000 meals with Rise Against Hunger. This will be Part 1 of 2 events (the next one will be on May 20) and will be held at the warehouse. Please register at bit.ly/acmillionmeals  (required).  This is a perfect service opportunity for the whole family (ages 4+), co-workers, and anyone else you can invite! Asbury, we can do it!!!!

Backpack Buddies Meal Packing Eventbackpack

Our next meal packing event is scheduled for THIS Saturday, February 24 at 10 AM in Asbury North. We will pack backpacks with weekend meals for children from food-insecure homes. This is a GREAT service project for families! For questions, contact Crista!

Family of Wake Promise Service Opportunity – Volunteers Needed – March 2018

Family Promise guests are coming to Asbury North starting Sunday, March 11 and this will be a great opportunity for you to be of service to others within our community. We will need:

  • A set-up team on the morning of Sunday 3/11
  • Drivers, sleepers, dinner and social teams – each day from 3/11-3/18
  • A tear-down team on Sunday 3/18

Memorial Service for Asbury Church member, Richard Wittebornrichard witteborn

The memorial service for our member, Richard Witteborn, will be held this Saturday, February 24 at 1:00 PM here in the South Building of Asbury Church. Please join us as we celebrate his life through a unique hymn-inspired service.

Discovering Asbury – Wednesday, March 7, 2018 – 6 PMdiscover asbury

Here at Asbury Church, attendance at our Discovering Asbury class is a requirement for membership. Our next class will be on Wednesday, March 7, 2018. To show our appreciation, you’re invited to attend Asbury’s  Gratitude Gathering as we celebrate all that God has done through you and Asbury in 2017 and look ahead to 2018. 1st Sunday Prayer Meeting – March 4 at 5:30 PM, Asbury South

For March, we will focus on the call to “take up the cross” and follow Jesus with a spirit of obedience and gratitude. We’ll meet you in the Sanctuary!
