Sunday Kid’s Ministry – Nursery and Preschool

Parents and youth partner with our nursery staff to provide a safe and nurturing experience for our birth – 3 year olds. The nursery is available for our 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM services.  During the 9:30 AM service, we provide a classroom experience filled with activities and a story for our 3-5 year olds. (First time guests can pre-register their children here)

Prayer after 9:30 AM Service

If you would like prayer after the 9:30 AM service, a caring individual in room 302 will be waiting to pray with you.

Asbury Care Team (ACT)care team

ACT is here to confidentially serve our church community under the leadership of our Lead Pastor, for general or specific life issues such as grief/loss, unemployment, illness, and life changes. To learn more and meet our Care Team members, click here.

LifeGroups

Creating Community

LifeGroups are made up of 8-12 people meeting, often in homes, to form friendships, talk about faith and the Bible, have social times and do service projects. Asbury Kid’s Ministry

LiveIt! is our Sunday environment for K-5th grade from 9:30-10:30 AM. It is a small group experience with a large group component where a host and storyteller make the Bible come alive and help children apply biblical principles to everyday life. Click here to learn more or contact Crista McKenzie.

Asbury Student MinistryStudents

Rise Against Hunger Meal Packing Event

From sustainable community development projects to nourishing lives through nutritious meals, Rise Against Hunger strives to build resilience and self-sufficiency in the communities where we work. Your time and support are key to achieving this mission.

On May 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM (immediately following our combined service at 10:00 AM), we will host the second half of our initiative to reach the one million meal mark! We will be packing meals in the North Building right here at Asbury Church! If you are inspired by this movement to fight world hunger and want to participate, plan to join us in May for this awesome opportunity!

Asbury Preschool Beautification Day – THIS Saturday, April 28 @ 8 AM

If you would like to help beautify the preschool playground area, you are welcome to bring a pitchfork, wheel barrow,  and/or a shovel and come lend a hand! We’ll be laying down new mulch, power washing, and some general clean up! See you then!

Way Forward Meeting Recap…

Just as the world around us has been struggling with human sexuality and proper boundaries for healthy sexual expression, so has our denomination. We are part of The United Methodist Church which has been prayerfully considering this topic for many years. On Wednesday, April 18, we had a healthy conversation and prayer time with members of Asbury Church regarding this very topic. Family Service – THIS Sunday, April 29, 2018 @ 9:30 AM

Join us for our Family Service at 9:30 AM this Sunday in Asbury North.  Enjoy a priceless opportunity to worship with your kids in our main sanctuary. There will be no elementary programming.  Nursery and preschool will still be available in Asbury South.

Who: All current 5th graders and parents
When: May 6th @ 5:30p – 7p
What: Come check out 412 and what you get to experience in the fall as you enter into 412 as a 6th grader.  Eat some food, play some games, worship, learn more about God, and connect with each other in small group time. Contact Andy Mannes with questions.

Discovering Asbury Membership Classdiscovering asbury

Our next Discovering Asbury class will be Wednesday, June 6 @ 6:30 PM. Childcare is available and dinner will be served so RSVPs are necessary. Attendance to this class is a requirement for membership. To register, please click here.

First Sunday Monthly Prayer – May 6 @ 5:30 PM, Asbury South

During our prayer time, we will ask God to increase and deepen our ability to make Asbury a place of relationships where Christ transforms. Join us in worship and intercession in the Sanctuary.
