SERVICE

May 20 – Combined Worship and Meal Packing Event

From sustainable community development projects to nourishing lives through nutritious meals, Rise Against Hunger strives to build resilience and self-sufficiency in the communities where we work. Your time and support are key to achieving this mission.

On May 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM (immediately following our combined service at 10:00 AM), we will host the second half of our initiative to reach the one million meal mark! We will be packing meals in the North Building right here at Asbury Church! If you are inspired by this movement to fight world hunger and want to participate, plan to join us in May for this awesome opportunity!

Donate Blood in Support of Your Favorite First Responders

The Northern Wake Fire Department has partnered with the American Red Cross to host blood donation drives at each of their five stations.  They are approaching a season where supplies become critically low and they are seeking as many donors as possible. For an appointment, visit redcrossblood.org and use Sponsor Code: Battle

An Amazing Service Opportunity is Waiting for You!

Are you excited about Jesus? Are you willing to give of your time and share His love with our kids? If so, we need YOU! We are already gearing up for our upcoming third service and have an exciting year planned in Kid’s Ministry.  In September, we will need people who are willing to spend one Sunday morning a month to minister to the kids in our community at either service.  Click here to watch a special message and if you are ready to serve in this amazing ministry,  email Mary Bunch.
