Creating Community

LifeGroups are made up of 8-12 people meeting, often in homes, to form friendships, talk about faith and the Bible, have social times and do service projects. People are at different stages of life and faith-creating diverse and relaxed environments. Click here to learn more.

Asbury Kid’s Ministry

LiveIt! is our Sunday environment for K-5th grade from 9:30-10:30am. It is a small group experience with a large group component where a host and storyteller make the Bible come alive and help children apply biblical principles to everyday life. Click here to learn more or contact Crista McKenzie.

Asbury Student Ministry

Video Production Team – Volunteers Needed
Asbury broadcasts our Contemporary service via our website and Facebook every week. The stream is seen LIVE and via replay by as many as 150 viewers. We’re seeking a team of volunteers who want to be apart of our online worship experience. If you are interested, contact Norm Williams: nlw63@bellsouth.net / 919-264-4391

Is God Real???
Next month, we will explore answers to this question and others that we all ask at some point in our lives. Starting August 4, we will begin a new series, “The God Questions”. Whether you’ve grown up in church, or are not sure you consider yourself a “Christian,” you will won’t want to miss church in August. Want to go deeper? Pastor Tom will also conduct extended study sessions on Sundays at 5:00 PM in the South Sanctuary (books sold separately). Bring questions from that morning’s sermon and invite someone to join you! Learn more and sign up for the extended sessions on our Special Studies page.

Our friends at Lynn Road Elementary will be returning back to school soon and we are excited to bless them with tools they will need to have a successful year! We will be collecting supplies August 4 – August 25. They can be dropped off in the church office Monday through Thursday or right outside in the school trailer on Sundays!

Our next GroupLink will be held on Sunday, September 8th after both services. This is our LifeGroup connection event where you will have the opportunity to meet LifeGroup leaders, gather information about group dynamics, meeting times and locations, and most importantly, get connected. More information will be shared on our GroupLink page this coming week!

The dates of our 2019 Christmas Cantata have been announced. We are excited to bring “Let All Heaven and Nature Sing” to the South Sanctuary on Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the holiday season!
