“The God Questions” Sermon Series

Is God real? Every Sunday through September 8, we will explore answers to this question and others that we all ask at some point in our lives with our new sermon series, “The God Questions”. Whether you’ve grown up in church, or are not sure you consider yourself a “Christian,” you will won’t want to miss a single week. Want to go deeper? Pastor Tom will also conduct Q & A bible study sessions on Sundays at 5:00 PM in the South Sanctuary (books sold separately). Bring questions from that morning’s sermon and invite someone to join you! Learn more and sign up for the extended sessions on our Special Studies page.

Pastoral Care
The Asbury Care Team (ACT) is here to care for you, under the leadership of our Lead Pastor, for general or specific life issues such as grief, illness, and life changes. For assistance and to meet our Care Team members, please visit our Care Team page.

Creating Community

LifeGroups are made up of 8-12 people meeting, often in homes, to form friendships, talk about faith and the Bible, have social times and do service projects. People are at different stages of life and faith-creating diverse and relaxed environments. Click here to learn more.

Asbury Kid’s Ministry

LiveIt! is our Sunday environment for K-5th grade from 9:30-10:30am. It is a small group experience with a large group component where a host and storyteller make the Bible come alive and help children apply biblical principles to everyday life. Click here to learn more or contact Crista McKenzie.

Asbury Student Ministry

A fun, exciting place to do life together for our tweens and teens! Large group worship, small study groups, service projects, and retreats. Life change, deep friendships, and spiritual formation happen at 412 and DASH. Click here to learn more or contact Andy Mannes.

Our friends at Lynn Road Elementary will be returning back to school soon and we are excited to bless them with tools they will need to have a successful year! We will be collecting supplies August 4 – August 25. They can be dropped off in the church office Monday through Thursday or right outside in the school trailer on Sundays!

Come out on August 24 at 9 AM and help fluff the mulch that keeps our children safe all year long. Meet at the playground and BYOP (Bring Your Own Pitchfork)! Contact Randall Johnson with any questions.

We are seeking a few more volunteers to assist us as we celebrate the teachers and staff at LRES at our annual luncheon! If you are interested in helping with set up, serving, and/or break down, please email Carol at cbazemore@ix.netcom.com

Our next GroupLink will be held on Sunday, September 8th after both services. This is our LifeGroup connection event where you will have the opportunity to meet LifeGroup leaders, gather information about group dynamics, meeting times and locations, and most importantly, get connected. More information will be shared on our LifeGroup page soon!

Thank you for staying connected with us!
