LIVESTREAM VIEWS

When our worship tech team launched our Livestream several years ago, we had no idea how much God would use the platform in the years ahead. In 2022, more than 6,284 full worship services have been streamed online throughout Raleigh, across the country and around the world.

We support families

We were able to partner with families and kids in leading the next generation into life-changing relationships with Jesus. From baptisms, confirmation, and events designed with families in mind, we are honored to come alongside our families to equip them with resources to grow in relationships with God and each other.

We brough back VBS in 2023 where 100 kids got to have fun, laugh, and learn about Jesus. Our Fall Festival brought more than 300 people ot our campus!

We serve compassionately

Jesus called us to help those in need, and that is what we do -- locally and globally.

Through our partnership with Plant A Row and Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, we provide fresh produce to families in need. Asbury gardeners donated 8,000 pounds of fresh produce. We also donated 2,100 backpack buddy meals to Lynn Rd. Elementary and have packaged 83,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger.

We supported 220 youth in Haiti through our partnership with Hearts & Hands for Haiti. Food was supplied to disadvantaged children who live at the children's home or attend school.

Each month we support 8 missionaries who are being the hands and feet of God around the world.

We donated much-needed school supplies to support Lynn Road Elementary School teachers and students in their classrooms.

With blood in low supply, we increased the number of blood drives so that we can help our neighbors in need of life-saving blood. Every unit saves three lives. We had 74 people whoo donated blood, saving up to 222 lives.

More than 220 of us packaged 31,000+ meals last year. They may look like simple bags of rice and soy, but Rise Against Hunger meals represent the hopes and dreams of people worldwide.

Backback Buddies for Lynn Road Elementary School

We packaged 2,400 backpacks for students in food-insecure households so that they have meals on the weekend and school breaks.

We partner with Habitat for Humanity's Apostles Build, which allows area churches to join together to fully fund and build a house for a local family in need of affordable housing. We build one whole house in 2023 and began our next home to complete in 2024.

We filled 439 shoeboxes with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We partnered with Lynn Road Elementary School to provide 31 winter coats. We also collected Christmas gifts for 21 students and families in need.

Budget Breakdown

Here's how our General Fund Giving breaks down between ministry areas:

Worship & Music - 13.2% - For music, communion, technology, livestreaming, and all that goes in to our weekly worship experiences.
Outreach - 24.6% - Includes support of missions locally and globally and evangelism efforts in North Raleigh and beyond
Family Ministry - 18.1% - Supporting Kids, Students, and their families
Adult Ministry - 15.9% - Includes LifeGroups, RightNowMedia, Events, and other support for our congregation
Office & Admin - 13.1% - Everything that keeps the church going from printing, security, bookkeeping, and more!
Facilities - 15.1% - Keeping God's house in amazing shape to host Asbury and community groups and events including worship, LifeGroups, studies, preschool, scouts, and community partnerships like theatre productions and Camp Gladiator.

We strive to invite each person at Asbury into local and global acts of service so that we may have Christ’s servant heart formed in us as we give ourselves away for the sake of others.
