End of Year Giving
This year, we all learned that we can't do faith alone. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve had to pivot and work even harder to reach outside our church walls. Our LiveStream and YouTube worship experiences have been watched over 3,300 hours and have allowed over 150 new people to worship online with us, even when our doors were closed. We’ve hosted 147 people virtually in bible study or LifeGroups this year to foster connections in our faith community and a deeper relationship with God through biblical teachings.
Engaging in relationships where Christ transforms is the mission at Asbury Church. As the
pandemic unfolded, causing food shortages, demands for blood, and feelings of isolation, we knew we were called to step in to offer hope and comfort. That's why we packaged 80,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger, which will help feed those who most need it. We pulled together to donate blood, and offered new opportunities for people and families to connect in safe, outdoor worship services on Sundays and through fellowship events like our Fall Festival and our recent Cookies & Cocoa.
We thank you for supporting God’s work, particularly in a season that has been tough for so many. There are wonderful opportunities to share God's love hidden within this difficult time, and with your help, Asbury Church seeks to meet them. As the year comes to a close, we are facing a shortfall of nearly $50,000. Will you prayerfully consider a year-end gift to Asbury Church today? All donations received online at www.asburyraleigh.org/give or postmarked December 31 will help to meet this need. Thank you.
