An opportunity to be known by others and to grow your faith.
This is not your typical small group, accountability group or Sunday school class. Bands are designed for deep and meaningful relationships. It’s about having a few people do life together and challenging each other in their walk with God. Your faith needs friends because we are called to be different. Called to be changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You can’t do it alone and you don’t have too. Join a band or form your own today.
“A discipleship band is a group of three to five people who read together, pray together, and meet together to become the love of God for one another and the world.” Discipliship Band by Mark Benjamin and J.D. Walt
What do you study?
During the week, your band will agree on a devotion or scripture everyone will read. Then, when you get together you will ask each other these five questions. How is it with your soul? What are your struggles and successes? How might the Spirit and Scriptures be speaking in your life? Do you have any sin that you want to confess? Are there any secrets or hidden things you would like to share?
Where do Bands meet?
We have groups that meet all throughout the North Raleigh area and on different nights of the week in homes, apartments, restaurants, coffee shops, or on the Asbury Campus.
