What: Childcare + Bible Lesson

When: During our 9:30 a.m. Contemporary Service

Who: For kids 6 weeks old through 5th grade. 

 

If you prefer to keep your kids in worship at any of our services - our Ushers have Orange Kids Packets to keep your kids engaged!

PRE-REGISTER MY KIDS

When you arrive on Sunday...

Our Kid's Ministry and Preschool are both located in the South Building.

 

• Preschool and Nursery are downstairs right behind our check-in. 

 

• Kindergarten through 5th grade starts upstairs.

During this time, all the kids will come together where a Host and Storyteller make a Bible story come alive. After this, kids are dismissed to follow a trained volunteer to their age-appropriate room for the rest of service where they will have a blast!

 

Kids check in starts at 9:10am — 20 minutes before our 9:30 a.m. service. Kids Ministry Staff will have a paper form with basic info on your first time and will show you all around our Kids Building.

We will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you!

Why the color orange?

 CHURCH + HOME = A GREAT TEAM 

Asbury Kids exists to not only help our kids know and worship God, but also to help parents be faith leaders at home!  We take an "orange" approach to ministry - meaning the yellow of the light of Christ at church and the red of the heart of the home come together to strengthen our kids' faith.

What we teach at Asbury Kids.

Your kids will experience an age-appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at Asbury Kids is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives. They will also have a lot of fun!

We take safety seriously.

Volunteers at Asbury Kids are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and wears our amazingly bright "We Get To do This!" tie-dye shirts for visibility.  On top of that, each kid gets a printed nametag at checkin, the campus is monitored by our safety team, and the Asbury Kids area is locked once we kickoff.
